Current design for many schools incorporate construction of a “storm shelter” area as part of the projects. Precast wall panels are often used in the design of the spaces that can be designated as a storm shelter. LAPPCO has completed projects that included storm shelters for Elmhurst School District 205, North Shore School District 112, Echo Joint Agreement, School District 202 in Plainfield and Lansing School District 158.
