Gymnasiums need a large open central area. This application is perfect for sandwich wall prestressed load bearing panels. Here again, we have tough pre-finished interior walls which eliminates a lot of costly finish work. The exterior was acid-etched with a rock faced look at the base.
Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Orland Park, Illinois
This visually striking structure is a skillful combination of several precast techniques. Many panels were brick clad which beautifully simulates a hand laid brick masonry wall. Other panels were rock faced emulating chiseled solid stone construction. Also there were several circular openings for stained glass. A complicated project completed to the clients complete satisfaction.
